Ok I get updates about this topic almost every day. BK peeple, are you even listening? There are obviously plenty of people out there with blackberry phones who want an app. Can it be that hard to make a small app to set your location?? Come on peeps, BK is not very Bright at all.

no no. Not windows mobile...just windows. Windows 32bit platform (XP,2K,Vista, NT) so forth. I have googled to death and find only one small AIR app. Do you know of others?

I found a work around for this for the time being if anyone else wants to do this: Go to your settings page and change the view option to "Nobodies Replies" which then will no longer show replies in your timeline. You could still view them from the web by clicking the replies tab. Hope this helps someone else

ok I got a reply from Evan, finally. I have changed my client to only check for updates every 15 minutes instead of every 5 to bandaid this for now. But I made it clear they really should up this limit unless someone has offended with flooding. They claim their servers are lacking and cannot handle the demand. I suggested placing ads on their site.

PS: the rate limit is now 30 according to the xml file. So that means that I can only get 30 tweets per hour? come on twitter that is retarded. this is no way to treat a new customer.

I think twitter messed with settings to try and keep from being flooded. And they set limits TOO LOW!!! Hello twitter..fix this PLEASE...

Seems this only happens now around the end of the hour. So I think they need to re-up the limit! There is no way I am reaching it. And the link above shows 30 even though I get an error in my app.
