Selective feeds for a new postHello,
Is there a way to use the one account and select what feed a new post will be sent to?
i.e. I have a new post regarding a new website I'm launching and i want it sent to my business site and not my personal one...
Or should this be changed to 'Share an idea'?
Regards
Craig

Brightness settings in Miro 2.5.3Hello,
I don't know how but all my movies appear to be darker on Miro since the latest update than they were before and than they are on other players like vlc, quicktime, wmp and divx.
Is there a settings to change the brightness?
I cant see it anywhere.

@Jisbar Admin thnks :)
@modeldaily yeah, you would have to completely update both pc's, also, once you have done that access the router and there should be a reset button that wipes all the settings back to factory settings for the router,
this is over and above a reset.
That should clear anything on the network once the updates have finished :)

I figured it out, After trying all your fixes modeldaily, i discovered (by walking through my event log) that Microsoft issued an update the other night, same night that 140ware issued tweetboard updates.
The security certificates were not downloading properly and apparently stuck on peoples networks while updating.
This prevented anything from from appearing from tweetboard. i decided to test this out before fixing the issue. So i used other services that requires javascript and some of them were having issues displaying.
To fix this i ran windows updates again, i manually downloaded them onto the pc and ran them. after which i restarted and lo the network files had been cleared again without my intervention.
It works now, other vista users were complaining about java based games glitching after updates, thats what initially twigged my sensors to the event log :)
Thanks for all the help guys

Craig Reville shared an idea in Glue on October 24, 2009 15:56:
Post page breakingOk,
So my idea is,
Allow the user to limit the number of posts per page and then having anything over that amount of posts referred onto another page.
At the bottom there would be pagination so you know how many pages of posts there are.
This feature can be seen when using such services as http://js-kit.com
So say you limited the amount of posts to 10 per page, then you created 11 posts.
10 would display in one go and then there would be a link to page 2 for the 11th post.
Just an idea however I'm not sure if this would make Glue less unique..

I would love that, would make life soo much easier
I have currently compromised by using class codes in my HTML and CSS to manage something similar.
In my home page i inserted the javascript code in a class called .introwrap and set the i_limit to 1.
I then added a permanent link to the posts page in the div called .intro
In my css for the main page i then added the following code:
.introWrap .NewsBodyText {
height: 200px;
border-bottom: none;
overflow: hidden !important;
font-family: inherit;
}
.introWrap .NewsGroup {
border-bottom: 0px;
margin-bottom: -1em;
}
.introWrap .NewsHeadline {
padding-bottom: 2em;
width: 828px;
}
html>body .introWrap .NewsHeadline {*margin-left: -5.5em;}
.introWrap .NewsInfo {display:none !important;}
.introWrap object {display:none !important;}
This allowed me to ensure that only 1 post would display and that post would only show the first 200px, roughly 20 lines of text and not display images or objects that are embedded. It also includes an IE only specified code.
I could then add the javascript into the posts page and set that i_limit to 10.
This would then display all the posts uncut with images and embedded objects.
This whole entire process means, that when i update and post a new thread, it updates my main page with a snippet of what the new post is going to be and inserts the entire post on the next page.
You can view it and sample my code at

I would say that the way its built just now is perfect, Its very simplistic and stylish, Maybe a question mark at the bottom while in the 'Add Post' section and when clicked pops up showing different ways of editing and formatting. (Shadow box maybe)
Don't wanna lose that special something Glue has and no one else does...
:)
