You are the one scheduling these events, so they can be on whatever days/times works best for you. We've designed the program so it can be done on the evenings during a week night or even on a Saturday. We don't want to take you away from the work you are doing at your church!

Hey Jimmy,

If you only get 1 church, that is okay. No pressure. We understand that there will be some who don't get to 6-8 and that there will be some presenters that go way over 6-8. That's alright. The main goal is to get the message out to as many people as possible but in a smaller local church environment.

Wrong Page Title, Right Comment

Hi, we have an article that we put up, but the comments, when coming in via email or under our ID Admin, show the comments under a different articles page title. The comments do go to the right pages though. Any ideas on why this would be happening?

Here is the article that comments are being labeled with the title of another article:

Should be linking to the Jonas Brothers - Burning Up page title, but it's linking to Coldplay's - Violet Hill title. The comments are all going to the correct page though. It's just confusing when they come in by email or on the admin screens.

As far as taxes are concerned, you would be considered "contract labor" so you would need to withhold your own taxes on any income made as a presenter.

Any travel expenses you have would need to be factored in to your
honorarium. We are expecting most presenters to do presentations
within their area, so most travel would just be driving (which isn't so cheap these days).

If you found yourself flying to do presentations, I'm sure you could work with the church to add any additional travel expenses to the cost of you coming
out.

Good question. We're going to meet the first day from 9-4 with an hour lunch break in there. The second day we'll meet from 9-2. This schedule is subject to change.

What will the seminars be like that we will be trained to present? Will it be more of a DVD of mark matlock speaking or will it be more of us presenting the info in our own style and way?

The 6-8 dates in the Spring is what we're pushing for, but if you can't do that, it's okay. The idea is that you'll be able to continue to do these events even after the first Spring dates.

Ideally once the church books you to speak, they'll do all the leg work as far as promoting it to their church to get people out to attend. We'll have some promotional materials online for churches bringing presenters in that they can use to promote.

Presenting Dates and Booking

I'm definitely interested in joining the training session, but am hesitant to sign up as I'm not sure I will be able to do 6-8 training sessions in February and March of 2009. I have three retreats between my two ministries during those two months which will make it a busy schedule already.

My question is twofold:
A) Does it have to be during those two months or could it be extended to April? I'm sure I could fit the trainings in with an extra month, but am not sure about those two specific months.

B) If I understand correctly, I would be the one responsible for setting up the sessions and performing them. Does that mean I have to do all of the legwork to go with them or am I just getting the churches, who will then take care of the rest for me until I show up and speak?
