A comment on the question "How do I link to to the same page like Jump to: History..." in PBwiki:
I've created a Glossary page, which is just a 2 column table, formatted to Heading3. It doesn't make sense to insert a TOC in a glossary page. I'd like Headings to include an anchor without having to generate a TOC, so that I can just link directly to the appropriate section like so:
https://mywiki.pbwiki.com/glossary#ascii
if I insert a TOC and then remove it, will this remove the anchors also? – Joe, on July 10, 2008 19:53-

Hello! It sounds like you're trying to create anchor links on your wiki.
We created a Table of Contents plugin that automagically creates anchor links in a page every time you format a line of text with the Heading format.
If you don't like using our TOC (table of contents) plugin, you can add HTML anchor links to a page.
Simply insert the HTML for an anchor link into the HTML plugin like this: . Once you have the anchors inserted, just creat URLs that link to the parts of the page.
