Me too. Using Twitterrific and getting bad request error as soon as I open it. So far this service pretty much sucks!

Hi Adam. A few days ago, Twitter lowered the API limit to 20 requests per hour per user in an attempt to reduce the number of 'over capacity' errors.

For the moment, the best way to handle it is to reduce the number of API requests that Twitterific or Hahlo makes so that you stay well within the 20 requests per hour.

You can check the Twitter Status blog at http://status.twitter.com at any time to see the current API limit, as well as check on the status of the various Twitter features.

I am seeing this in both my Twitteriffic and Halo clients. It is super annoying as I only have one client connected. Anyone have a fix yet?

yup I get this error on one iphone app, all twitter computer apps, but do not get the error on one of my iphone apps. I can, of course, use the web site...

of course, right as I submitted this i had left twitterific running, and it finally got updates, but then gave me the same error again. wtf?
