Can't login to TwitterI cannot use Twitter as my "blog" for a Lifecast. Despite all attempts it always tells me my information is incorrect.

pListOFF replied on March 16, 2009 04:02 to the question "Can I subgroup tags so when I enter a tag, it inherits multiple others?" in Gravity Applications:
The problem with this scenario is the assumption that a tag is always found on the same taxonomic branch. You say "gumbo" is ALWAYS a subgroup of "work" and "project". What about when it's not? The deeper the branching the less useful this becomes. What if you wanted to just use "gumbo" as a single tag? Do you break the hierarchy for the new group of files, define a single tag group for "gumbo", etc. There may need to be a better UI for adding multiple tags but inheritance is a concept that appears simple to implement but the results may be less than desirable.

I think following Illustrator's paradigm would be great (though the Freehand users would beg to differ - lol).
The ability to convert from Smooth to Sharp corners with a single click on a point would be great. Also the ability to tuck the handles into an anchor to make them disappear would be great.
pListOFF asked a question in Bohemian Coding on March 13, 2009 20:10:
Are there any good tutorials on vector drawing?Coming from Adobe Illustrator the Pen Tool works in a very well known way. I'm a bit confused at to DrawIt's Pen Tool behavior.
It appears to always work as a Compound Path and adjusting handles is very difficult. But I may just be missing something.

Check this out: the developer of DefaultFolderX is supporting Ironic Software's OpenMeta Initiative. http://bitly.com/Ai3Is – pListOFF, on March 10, 2009 21:56
A comment on the question "Does Tags use OpenMeta?" in Gravity Applications:
I'm curious as to why you aren't working with the OpenMeta people to find a solution? Part of the problem they are trying to solve is every developer coming up with their own solution that has to be reverse-engineered by other developers. – pListOFF, on March 10, 2009 21:30

I'm just curious if you bought Fontcase yet? Or are you waiting for auto-activation? – pListOFF, on March 10, 2009 16:45
A comment on the question "Does Tags use OpenMeta?" in Gravity Applications:
@CharlesWJ: I think you read too much into the answer you were given. @gravity did NOT say "Tags will continue to work" (though they should clarify their position).
Despite not saying they use OpenMeta specifically, the mechanism for writing the Tags is the same exact thing. So if Apple "blocks the route" it will break for Gravity Apps just as it may for OpenMeta products. OpenMeta, on the other hand, has a Tag backup just in case. Perfect, no - but it affords some level of protection. – pListOFF, on March 10, 2009 14:28
