A comment on the problem "Badge freezes IE6" in Ning:
Thanks for the response, Phil. I'll try that. – Plonkely, on October 26, 2009 13:31-

Plonkely reported a problem in Ning on October 25, 2009 22:01:
Badge freezes IE6The badge feature is causing Internet Explorer 6 to get upset and freeze. I was testing my Ning site on IE6 and furiously trying to figure out what was causing the problem, and when I removed the badge item off of the page, IE6 rendered fine without freezing or crashing.
It's not a huge issue given that IE6 is ancient and not fit to go onto Ning websites, but I just thought I'd point it out in case there's a way for either you or for us users to fix it. I'd like to keep the bade on the front page, but I don't want to crash the browser of some of my visitors (though they deserve it!)
Thanks,
Bradley.

Thanks for the response, Ian - appreciated. I didn't realise there could be so much work in adding them. Good luck! – Plonkely, on October 12, 2009 22:59
Plonkely asked a question in PBwiki on October 12, 2009 21:11:
Why still no ability add subfolders? It's been asked for a by a number of people, and each time you say you're discussing it. Apologies for sounding rude, but I don't really understand what there could be to discuss. Unless there are technical limitations with regard to adding sub-folders, why are you holding back on this feature?
If people don't want to use them, they don't have to, but I and many other do want them. I wish use PBWorks as a personal document storage and backup facility for my A levels, but there are a lot of different units within each of my subjects that need to be divided, sub-divided, etc. I can't use this service without the ability to categorise, or else I'll just end up with hundreds of pages and files under a single category of 'English' 'History' etc.
You may not think that’s the best use for a wiki or the best way for me to organise my files and notes, but that’s how it will work best for me. Why, a year after it was first asked for, can we still not create sub-folders?-

A comment on the problem "Spotify Ads - "Ring and tell us what you think!" - over and over and over again" in Spotify:
He's not complaining about ads from other companies, but he doesn't like the constant ads which tell how great a product we're already using is. I don't see why we need to hear people with annoying voices telling us why they like Spotify and using cringeworthy phrases like "De bomb". Especially when there's a cycle of about three people telling us over and over again how great Spotify is. Surely those slots could be sold for money? – Plonkely, on June 28, 2009 19:50-

An update made to the above linked article by Henry says:
"McAfee has been made aware that some users are experiencing an issue with Spotify. A fix will be provided in today's regular signature file update. McAfee would like to apologise to any customers affected by this issue and reassure them that this is being addressed as a matter of urgency."
Hopefully soon!
At least McAfee could be bothered to say something about it.

Another thread about this here: http://www.getsatisfaction.com/spotif... . Thought some of you might want to keep an eye on it in case Spotify post any updates there rather than here.
