* Any comments or observations: i just confirmed a new phone for my account. i can post to twitter from it and even request to follow people via text message and the status of me following them changes on the web, but their tweets aren't coming to my phone. Basically it seems like I can send twitter text messages, but twitter can't send them to me.

siegferret, please login and go to http://twitter.com/friends and turn device updates on for anyone you want to receive sms from. Currently, all the device updates for the people you follow are set to off, which explains why you're not receiving updates. Thanks. – Emee, on November 28, 2008 16:17

Thanks, Eridanus. Yes, at the time that I checked his username1 account (9 hours ago), there was no device attached to it anymore, so I expect themovement will be able to add and verify his number correctly for his real account. – Emee, on November 28, 2008 16:15

* Any comments or observations: Device is showing as "ON", and I do get a response to my phone when sending "ON" or "OFF" or "HELP" from my phone. I do have a +1 in front of my phone number as well.

themovement, please add your phone again at http://twitter.com/devices, but this time have the number start with +1 (the US country code) before your area code.

yuffiebunny, please check this other account and see if it contains your messages: http://twitter.com/yuffiebunny1
If the yuffiebunny1 account is yours, you'll need to first claim that account using this form: http://twitter.com/account/complete ... then delete the verified phone number from the /devices page of that shadow account. After you've deleted it, you can add your mobile phone number to your real account, and you'll be able to verify it.
(Ordinarily, I would have simply deleted the phone in the other account for you, but I noticed that the verified phone number in the yuffiebunny1 account does not match the phone number that you are trying to verify in the yuffiebunny account. * Any comments or observations: tried to register with the international code given and nothing happened so i sent the same code to the US number and it created a whole other account for me: themovement1. please help i cant hold it any longer! i need to go bad. >.<

* Any comments or observations: I have an LJ voyager with verizon. twitter has NEVER worked with this phone. i keep trying to verify my number but i never get a reply saying it's confirmed. therefore i can't send text updates and nothing is ever updated.

Well...it was nice while it lasted. Twitter has once again abandoned me and I am back to how I was between Nov 1 and Nov 19.
I can send tweets via my phone and they post and send fine. But, I can no longer receive them. My last incoming tweet was at approximately noon on Nov 26. I have deleted and reset my phone. I get no response when I send ON or HELP to 40404.
