Hi
I have just ordered some contact lenses from this site, to be delivered to a friend in the US before they come visit me in Tokyo. I have only received an order number - no confirmation of the product or price. Also my credit card company does not show the transaction. Where should I go from here? The man has my credit card details...

I ordered a pair of sunglasses off the website, luckily did credit card transaction through google. I received the same email saying that I had left something in my basket, and why. I was concerned and decided to cancell the order. I called the 800 number on Decormyeyes website and he proceeded to call me a F-----ing B-tch and said that he knows where I live and he will come down and pop me in the head a couple of times. He has continued to email me in the last few minutes since I hung up on him. This guy has major issues and is a total scam artist. YUCK! – KMH, on August 28, 2008 20:03-

Sorry again for the inappropriate messages that showed up in your in-box, which were, well, beyond inappropriate. I've banned him from using our site, so we have hopefully seen the last of him. – Eric Suesz, on August 27, 2008 06:08

Guys
I just received my pair of glasses from www.go2optics.com and let me tell you that they were a complete plessure to do business with and the 2 pairs of glasses i brought were about $80 cheaper than decormyeyes. They came within a week and they are the real deal. They came with all the original packaging and the authenticity cards in each box. Will definatley do business with this company again. Stay away from Decormyeyes. – Da Rock, on August 26, 2008 09:02

Hi guys. I'm so glad this site exists. I just stumbled upon it after dealing with this company and took to the web to vent my frustrations. I won't even bother detailing the specifics because it's all been said. I will say that I live in NYC and the local Fox station has an investigative unit which features idiots like this guy. Here's what I just wrote to the Fox 5 station (http://www.myfoxny.com/myfox/MyFox/ht...):
DecorMyEyes.com is an online company which claims to sell authentic designer sunglasses. There are many reports that they are fakes. But the bigger issue is the way the owner (?) of this company treats his customers. His name is Stanley Bolds (aka Vitaly Borker) and he blatantly harasses his unsatisfied clients with verbal abuse and threats of violence. The mailing address for the company is in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn (56 Beaumont Street). Their email address is sales@decormyeyes.com. There are several blogs on the web with many, many upset consumers. Here are few:
http://www.ripoffreport.com/searchres...
http://www.resellerratings.com/store/...
http://getsatisfaction.com/decormyeye...
I'm keeping my email and name anonymous because this man (Stanley Bolds) has threatened me in phone calls and emails, stating that he knows where I work and live.
Is there anyting you guys can do to check him out.
Please help!

Just so everyone knows: Stanley, who posted a ton of pornography and other offensive photos on this site today (some of the most offensive stuff I've ever seen), has now been banned from using Get Satisfaction. It's really quite amazing that someone with a business would choose to act this way, and I appreciate all of your comments in helping to spotlight a business owner with such questionable business sense.
My apologies for the amount of offensive material he managed to put in your e-mail in-box before we removed his ability to post.

Hey GUYS AND DOLLS THIS IS IMPORTANT PLEASE READ. I need to share one thing Insanely Stanley did for me. Stanley reminded me to do my research, ask questions and purchase items from companies that stand behind their product and believe in customer service. Before the internet it was easier to purchase expensive items because you could see and touch them and see and hear the employees promises. You also knew where the store would be if you got home and changed your mind. If they decided not to follow their return policy it was easy to make a fuss until the whole mall heard you and it was in the newspaper. I know this because I worked at a shoe store in the mall when I was in college, our manager wanted to make sure everyone was happily skipping in and out of the store. Today anybody can sit and hide behind the computer. By the way the good blogs and posts that are online were mostly written by Jessica and Stanley. This is truly sad.
I wish I would have shared my recent good sunglass purchase experiences before today. I was mad for only a second Stanley wasn’t worth it but I was still hesitant to order anything on the internet until I found a pair of Dolce & Gabbana glasses with Swarovski crystals that I fell in love for my birthday. I saw them when I was in CA but didn't want to pay $400 Johnny on the spot then I couldn't find them in stock anywhere. I decided it was time to do my research. Dolce & Gabbana and Luxottica are two market-leading companies that signed a licensing agreement to manufacture and wholesale sunglasses together. Luxottica has 6 maybe more in house lines and about 17 other brand name licensing agreements. That gave me more information when I started calling and contacting companies online. I asked about their wholesale process, warranties, other numbers to call for verifications before I ordered, even for the description of the glasses down to a T for comparison, the questions started getting ridiculous I felt I was acting like the crazy lady in the mall before I even made the purchase.
It was a great experience with http://www.go2optics.com/ and I just love my movie star glasses that cover half your face. My plastic sunblock. They retailed for $375 to $425 and I bought them for $191. (This was also cheaper than Stanley’s site and the starting bid on EBay where Stanley tried to disguise himself and DecorMyEyes Company.) I received my glasses within days along with a company and manufacturer guarantee card to fill out and mail back to GO2 and Luxottica and a follow up email and phone call from customer service.
During my research I also found out that Luxottica manages LensCrafters (where I have been a regular prescription customer over the years) and Sunglass Hut globally.
On a business trip in June I thought I lost my new sunglasses. I drive a convertible and it was bright and sunny so I couldn't go a day on the road without a pair of sunglasses. I decided to run by a sunglass hut to see if they had the same pair in stock. They didn't but I didn’t want to leave without a pair because I was going to be on the road the next two weeks. The salesperson was exceptional. She was so nice while she was trying to help me find a similar pair. We tried almost every brand of glasses in the store and she shared my disappointment. Right before I started to give up she asked if I could wait a second while she rang up some other customers so she go to the stock room and pull out some boxes that haven't been open yet. She pulled out drawers, brought boxes out from the back and even showed me some of their discount glasses.
For some reason I have never noticed or asked why some of the glasses were discounted. She said sometimes they will get damaged in shipping or returned so they have a special case for them clearly apart from the others. They replace returned glasses if they have them in stock and resale them at a lower price. She said Sunglass Hut has a policy of return and or repair even if they were stepped on by accident. I could purchase a damage pair and send them for repair because they would still be under the manufacturer's warranty.
Since the company and manufacturer are one and the same they would rather be honest about the damage and offer for them for purchase and repair instead of instantly putting them in a damage box to die alone. You can take damaged sunglasses for return or repair to any Sunglass Hut around the world. How's that for customer service!!!! I found my Dolce & Gabbanas a couple of days later but now I have a pair of D&G's for back up and couldn't be happier. I can also use my eye case as a clutch. I hate the latest post from AMY because I should have shared this story sooner and you would be happier with your purchase. But hopefully this will not only tell others not to buy from DecorMyEyes but lead them in other directions. My first entry was my first blog and first filed formal complaint in my life so it didn't dawn on me to speak up again. Also because my stories are rarely ever short. I also contacted several other websites, BBB, nationally and locally and other consumer groups I am usually so busy taking care of my owner customers I forgot to share the good from my new experience and how it could help someone. It is exhausting to complain and from one of my first emails from Stanley that is what he counts on. He wants us to give up the fight for our rights. I have followed all the other horror stories so it is evident we still have experiences to share and stories to tell. There are good sites where you can purchase online for a cheaper price, receive the genuine product and good customer service. There are other alternatives as well.
Stanley would have admitted he was wrong if he had any sense or actually was making money and wanting to stay in business. He is not even a tiny player in the big scheme of things so I hate to respond to his immature behavior and unethical business conduct. The only thing that could possibly keep him in business was the one thing he doesn't have is a good name although we know that now it is publicly in writing.. I can understand a couple of mistakes and complaints but irate people who have a life and still take the time to help others beware. He might have succeeded with keeping 99% of his guarantees, lower prices and some kind of service. But he has proven that he doesn't return, refund or keep any guarantees. The jig is up and please tell everyone that DecorMyEyes is out of business as of now. We need to confirm his mailing address to return all of the junk mail or anything else we fill necessary to drop in his mail box since he feels so free to fill up my email box and voice mail with obscenities. His prices aren't competitive with other online companies that try to keep a low overhead. It should be since he lives in his warehouse. We all know his meaning of customer service. The sentence usually ends with _____you. He has more than offered his signature and seems to be begging for someone to check him into a mental hospital by telling the world he, himself is a lunatic on a company blog. Does he not know that this is a company blog for all to see with other businesses like Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo, Sunbelt Software, Google, and Iphones etc. We need to keep the topics and blogs alive. Luckily for us Stanley has made that so easy for us. There is a six degrees of separation from each other and he is about half degrees to someone or something that will push his company right over the edge. You can tell by his latest email. I am a business owner and what I want the most is to have a happy customer base with repetitive business transactions and lots and lots of referrals along with a good living. I have no complaints and my clients have made me very satisfied. Maybe I am one of the lucky ones but luck is hard work.
STANLEY THIS REFERRAL IS FOR YOU. Don't buy from DecorMyEyes, look for Stanley Bolds, then there is this Jessica person, his tags on EBAY, he has other sites... So buyers beware. I hope that is rich enough for you Stanley. Have a great day!!!!!!!!!
