Thank you, Gabriel, but I trust that this account will soon disappear from my list of followers in Youare.
I do not think that the "private" option is a solution for this specific issue.
In my view, the point of spammer fighting is to get rid of them while being able to stay "in the open" (i.e. not private), else "the spammers win"...
my recommendations are that:
1) Youare adds a "block" option next to each follower, that automatically remove the follower from someone's stream;
2) When Youare notices that a user is blocked in this way by many parties, Youare should automatically be alerted and would consider revoking those users after careful review.
I hope this helps,
PPM

I checked again, but spammer http://youare.com/jssxj1980 (aka Feifei Ouyang) is still in my followers on Youare. Any way to have a "block" option for users, just like on Twitter, so I can remove myself people from my followers?
ppmartin replied on August 21, 2009 21:38 to the question "List of blocked users" in Twitter:
Thanks @oriste, Untweeps works as advertized.
Another alternative is http://www.TwitBlock.org, where you can also sign in with OAuth, and get the list of the accounts you have blocked.
The other (main?) function of TwitBlock, i.e. the spamminess rating, can NOT be relied upon, but at least you get the list of people you have blocked ;)
But overall, I like http://www.untweeps.com/ better as it lists the blocked accounts with avatar + name + user name which is more convenient than Twitblock which shows only the avatars.
