hey nils, thanks for letting us know!
I just wrote down some thoughts and built a simple and rough example regarding the idea of having geotag markers within audio material:

precious asked a question in SoundCloud on May 03, 2009 09:40:
Plans for geo tagging? Are there any plans to integrate geo tag support (such as for photos on flickr etc.)? I'm not sure if it does yet (haven't found it), but it would be great if I could eg upload geo tagged audio from the FiRe iPhone app to SoundCloud, then map the field recordings via the soundcloud API, as basic google maps mashup, or more advanced processing work ...
pretty much as freesoung does: http://www.freesound.org/geotagsView.php

precious reported a problem in Feedly on December 01, 2008 17:45:
I have a problem with syncing Feedly and Google Reader. Logging out/restarting browser won't help. When I first tried Feedly, I did not have any Google Reader subscriptions. Also, I did not initially understand that Feedly and Google Reader were connected, or even synced two ways. After understanding the concept, I totally started liking it: better organizational features in Google Reader, better access to content and inetraction in Feedly.
But then my euphoria got a little setback. I added some within Feedly, created some categories and found all these in Google Reader. I then removed all my categories, added better ones and put the feeds into them step by step. Again, this was all well represented in Google Reader. But then, at some point I can't really exactly remember anymore, after logging out or restarting Firefox, my new subscriptions and categories were gone in Feedly! I checked in Google Reader and found them all over there, in the same way as before. In Feedly, I found the old categories and all the new subscriptions missing. I then started organizing my feeds in Google Reader – I was thinking that if I have one side right, the other will adopt to it. I deleted the cache, logged out, in again, restarted Firefox – but no luck. Then deinstalled Feedly. After re-installing, still the same problem: old categories and a lot of subscriptions that are in Google Reader are missing in Feedly.
Somewhere else I was reading about Feedly managing a local cache of its subscriptions. Maybe this got somehow corrupted and then put the whole thing out of balance, and out of sync? Is there a way to reset it? Manually deleting all feeds in Feedly and then trying to sync back with Google Reader did not help, though; after restarting Firefox, the same old dategories and feeds appeared. Any idea?-
