you need to click the red button that's next to the SD card slot (it's under that flap on the Wiis front). then click the red button under the battery door on your Wiimote.

this should pair the controller back to your wii.

mmm... have you tried checking the batteries?
Is that the remote or the classic game controller for the Wii??
