Well, I'm full of it, it seems. This might do it.
1) In your account, go to 'Settings.'
2) Click the 'Notices' tab.
3) On @Replies change it to 'no @replies'.
You won't receive any @reply messages that way. As long as you don't also track your twitter account's name, you shouldn't receive any of the messages directed at you.
(That'll teach me not to look at my settings...)

Thanks for your response. The only issue is that even if no one reads the messages in the brand's account, we would still be held legally liable for receiving the messages and not responding or reacting in an appropriate way. – Priscilla, on June 16, 2008 14:52
