prof1990 shared an idea in BumpTop on November 08, 2008 15:05:
How to report a bugSince many of the people posting here seem to have no clue of how to report a problem.
I will write a short guide on reporting bugs and asking help for problems.
How to report a bug.
step 0: CHECK IF ANYONE ELSE HAS ALREADY REPORTED THE BUG!
if so don't do it yourself but post in his/her topic saying that you have the same problem + step3.
step 1: describe the problem.
step 2: make a short guide how to recreate your problem.
step 3: tell us what kind of operating system, video card, processor, ram memory, motherboard, etc. everything you think might be relevant.
step 4: give it enough and relevant tags, so that other people that have the same problem will find you topic instead of opening a new one.
that is all.
if you have something to add, please reply.-
