Great, this seemed to do the trick for me. Thanks for finding that post, and thanks for the help.

It may still need to be reported as a bug because some others may just give up trying to find the fix :/

My Library is Missing!
I was using Songbird .7 for awhile and yesterday it upgraded to .8 and since I have had no access to my library. The left menu bar has the 'Bookmarks' section but no Library section. When I attempt to go to File > Open Location nothing happens, when I go to File > Open File no song is added. I also cannot drag a folder into Songbird any more.

I also had tried uninstalling and reinstalling .7 but the error remains. I also tried disabling all of my four addons to see if one of those could be causing the error.

I run Linux and all my music files are mp3 or ogg and I have all required dependencies to play those files.

I may just be stupid and unable to find what I need but I been trying for awhile to solve this myself to no avail so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
