Just noticed now that I remain in my Direct Messages page after I delete a direct message. Don't know if it's just a coincidence or if the problem has officially been fixed.
Side note: Someone else has suggested that Direct Messages be a tab instead of a link on the sidebar. The relevant thread for that suggestion is here. -

I noticed this today. After I delete a private message it goes to the last profile page I visited. I think this also happens with other save or delete functions.
(Also let me add, wouldn't be nice if Direct Messages was a tab instead of a small sidebar link)
