Update has killed iPhone Safari viewLooks like last nights update has killed the non-iPhone specific interface when viewed in Safari. It constantly shows the site as being down for maintenance, even though it clearly isn't when you view it on a desktop browser.
This is a big No No for Admins. I use Safari to approve new members etc all the time, as this can't be done from the dedicated iPhone view.
if I get an email saying I've got a new member to approve, I click the link, Safari launches and I get the maintenance message, rendering remote admin completely dead.

What's the maximum number of photos allowed in an album?I'd like to create a new album for our monthly screenshot competitions on http://flightsimulator.ning.com, but I'm not sure what the maximum number is per album.
I know there is a limit, because I hit it when trying to create one earlier, but didn't note the number.

Problems with IE8I'm getting a lot of members reporting problems with IE8.
These range from "Page not found" to blank chat windows, to not being able to upload images.
The site seems fine in Safari, Firefox, Opera and Chrome, so it looks like it's only IE, but seeing as most of the planet uses IE, that's a real problem.

Why are html items in such a large font and can I do anything about it?Why are html- items in such a large font and can I do anything about it?
Have a look at http://flightsimulator.ning.com/profi... for an example. All of the list items are in a huge font compared to the body text - it should be the same font/size etc.- items in such a large font and can I do anything about it?

Status says "All Systems Go" but clearly they aren'tI'm still having major problems on http://flightsimulator.ning.com
Clicking on many items (Inbox messages, photos, forum posts etc) issues the dreaded "Whoops!" error. Sometimes a refresh will show it, sometimes it won't.
What's the problem exactly? Seeing these errors and then seeing "All Systems Go" on the status page doesn't fill me with confidence.

That could well be the reason, but it's not much help when you're trying to build traffic to your network! They should think of another way of doing it.
The stupid thing is, they allow you to share something from the network on Facebook, but when someone then clicks the link on Facebook, they're met with that horrible message. Not much point enabling the sharing if it doesn't work :(
psionmark@mac.com shared an idea in Ning on June 14, 2009 15:38:
Ning needs to be viewable within framesI think Ning needs to be viewable within frames. More and more social networking and other sites use frames to display clicked links - see this example for Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/ext/share.php...
I've also just started using Stumbleupon's su.pr URL shortener and the same thing applies. The visitor is presented with a horrible looking message saying the site can't be viewed within a frame. Even worse, when they click on the link to take them to the "original site", it's always the home page of the Network and not the page linked to.

Member icons no longer showing in chat windowLooks like there was an update to the Chat module this week. Since then, member icons are no longer showing in the member list on the right of the window.
Don't know if that was intentional, but it doesn't look anywhere near as good without them.
Are they coming back?

Can I use Topify with multiple Twitter accounts?Hi folks,
I've just started using Topify today and I'm pretty impressed.
Can I use it with multiple Twitter accounts? Or do I have to create 3 Topify accounts. If so, can I invite myself, as it were? I tried to create a second Topify account and it said I couldn't use that invite any longer.
Keep up the good work!-
