Socialthing needs an iPhone appI have been using Socialthing for quite a while now, but I wish there was an iPhone client app. Anything in the pipeline gang? I don't like having to spawn the browser and waiting for the feed to load there, plus it's just so much more personable with the client.
Good job on the tool folks. I only wish the experience in the iPhone browser gave me the friendfeed in a more current state. It's like 8-10hrs behind.

Thanks a lot for the snappy reply, Wade:-). I rarely get the popup at the top of the browser telling me that new updates are available. This is the 3.0.3 FireFox build running on Win Vista. I've been using this browser over the past several months solely with this app.
But, I would like to say that you guys are doing a fantastic job on this app, and providing news alerts on your end at the top of the feed - very slick. Aside from my small issue, I really love this app and the extensible list of services you're wiring up. Kudos!

Why is the Friendfeed so far behind the actual time?Really love socialthing app for desktop browser and the iPhone app, but am not liking that 90% of the time, the most recent updates I can get are 4-8 hrs old...sometimes older. Why is that? I have my friendfeed sorted by time, so it's not user error. Pumping a status update to twitter and facebook seems to work quickly, but I can clearly see my friend's status updates not showing up in my friendfeed. Not sure what to make of it, but it's annoying trying to read what's going on and am always a half a day behind it appears. I seem to get the same complaint from either the desktop browser app in FF3 or through the iPhone app. As far as frequency, it's not just at night. it's all day long, weekdays or weekends.
In summary, the posting experience is snappy and instant, but it's the reading experience that keeps my too far behind the times when it's like 4-8hr delayed.
