I have Windows XP installed with service pack 2. I had McAffee installed but used the tool from the McAfee website to get rid of everything. I had AVG anti-spyware but deleted that as well. My service provider said that yes, an SSL connection is required, but it should not affect OUtlook Express.-

Scan freezes computerI started a full scan on my computer (three times) and the screen froze up. I could not move the cursor, I could not do Crtl, Alt, Delete or any thing else. I had to do a hard restart. The quick scan seemed to let me do other tasks though.
