Great! In the future, feel free to file official bugs if you find specific defects with metadata reading or writing. While I'm happy to answer questions here at getsatisfaction, if you need to attach files, http://bugzilla.songbirdnest.com is the place to be. Have fun. :)

Hi WM,
right now Songbird's model is one value per property per media item. Changing this would have a significant impact on the user interface, database, and many other areas of the application. While we are hoping to provide support for this at some point, we have other important issues to resolve first.
In the mean time, the first of the two values should appear correctly in Songbird, just not the second or further values. If this is not the case, please create a bug at bugzilla.songbirdnest.com and attach an example file so that I can do some testing and see if I can resolve this issue.
If you prefer to use a different application to manage your tags, you can disable tag writing entirely. Simply create a new tab, type the url "about:config"
and then set the value of "songbird.metadata.enableWriting" to false.
Thanks for taking the time to report your problems. I'd really love to have more time to work on advanced tagging, but it's not going to happen for a while.

Hi WM,
in fact the ID3v2.3 spec does not specify slash as a separator. Please reference section 4.2 of the spec.

If you are describing a different problem, please provide me with some more information and I will gladly look into it.
