Simon replied on September 30, 2009 21:24 to the question "I am simply confused by the new Airset" in AirSet:
Hi, I see what you are saying. Let me try to explain what's happening here, and a gotomeeting might not be necessary.
All of the functionality of AirSet that was available when you first signed up is still there. We simply changed the interface and the metaphor of AirSet and how you navigate to things. We used to have "groups", with each group having a set of applications including a calendar, contacts, lists, etc. We changed "groups" to "Cloud Computers", they still work the same way, it's just a new metaphor. So you have a Cloud Computer for each of your groups, and each Cloud Computer has that same set of applications: calendar, contacts, lists, etc.
After you sign in to AirSet you can access your different Cloud Computers, or groups, from the button on the lower left of the screen labeled "My Network". While you are in a Cloud Computer, you can go to the different applications for that Cloud Computer by clicking on the "Start" button from the lower left. (This is were you would access your Contacts, from the Contacts application).
In regards to the daily email containing your calendar, this is what we call the Daily Schedule Summary (an email sent each day with a summary of the calendar events for the next day). You can choose to receive this summary on a Cloud Computer by Cloud Computer basis. So for instance if you have a Family Cloud Computer and a Work Cloud Computer, you can choose to receive a summary for the Work Calendar but not the Family Calendar, etc.
To set your Daily Schedule Summary preferences, first go to the Cloud Computer you want to get the summary for (go to the Cloud Computer from the "My Network" menu (you can also choose your personal Cloud Computer)). Then click the "Start" button, select "Administration" from the right column, and select "Cloud Computer Settings". Now on the right of the screen will be an area labeled "Your Preferences", in that area there is a section titled "Activity Notifications". Here you will see options for your "Daily Schedule Summary"; you can choose to receive the summary by email, to your phone, to both, or not receive them at all.
Remember the functionality that you knew from before is still there, just the interface has changed. Instead of "groups" we have "cloud computers". You still have all the applications that you did before.
Hope this helps.
Simon replied on September 29, 2009 19:14 to the question "I am simply confused by the new Airset" in AirSet:
Did this happen recently? When you say "everything had completely changed" are you only referring to the fact that your associates were gone and your contact list was empty, or did other things change as well?
Were you the only Organizer of the group (the only person with full permissions to do things in AirSet)? If not, it's possible somebody else in the group with permissions to do so, accidentally deleted content from the group.
If you'd like you can send us a feedback email from within AirSet, which will provide us with more information about your specific account, which may help us investigate what is happening. To do this, log in to AirSet, click the "Start" button from the lower left, go to "Help and Support" on the right, and click "Feedback." In the email simply state who you are and mention that I have been communicating with you in Get Satisfaction.
I hope we can get to the bottom of this soon.
Simon replied on September 28, 2009 21:10 to the question "I am simply confused by the new Airset" in AirSet:
Hi Sandy,
Sorry to hear your troubles. When you say "New AirSet" are you referring to the interface change where we incorporated the desktop interface? The "Cloud Computers" are equivalent to "Groups" in the old interface. When you have multiple Cloud Computers you can share your calendar between them. To share your calendar. First open the calendar you would like to share, then click "Calendar" from the top menu bar and select "Share..." from the list. Next, choose the Cloud Computers you would like to share your calendar with.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by your contacts are not getting daily updates from your calendar. Can you please describe what you were able to do in the old interface that you aren't now?
Thanks!
Simon replied on September 15, 2009 18:22 to the question "Sync'ing issues with Outlook+Airset Desktop Sync" in AirSet:
Hi,
I'd suggest checking the timezone settings for each of you in Windows (Outlook) and for each of you in AirSet.
Also, when a sync is completed try to take a look at the sync dialog to see if it says anything about permissions. For instance, if it "reverts" back it may be that sync is thinking someone doesn't have permission to change something.
Hope this helps!

Hi Pat,
Sorry for all the trouble, I'm hoping to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible. To help give us more information about the issue, please send as an email from our Feedback menu. While logged into AirSet, click the "Start" button, go to "Help and Support" on the right side, and select "Feedback". When you send us a message via this menu, we will have more information about your account that will help with the investigation.

Simon replied on September 15, 2009 17:21 to the problem "Error 406 with iCal link" in AirSet:
Hi Pierre,
I asked one of our engineers about this issue and here is his response:
"Error 406 means the server at http://www.planningcenteronline.com can't provide the information in any of the formats that our server has indicated it can accept - which is rather bizarre as I don't believe we're doing anything unusual (it appears just to be the Java defaults). I've not seen this occur before."
We are considering what courses you might take to try to resolve this. I will keep you posted.

Simon replied on September 14, 2009 23:44 to the problem "Airset changes my appointment times when I sync, WHY?" in AirSet:
Hi Peter,
It's possible this is being caused by timezone settings being off. Please see this page in our User Manual regarding this issue: http://www.airset.com/AirSet.jsp#app.Help_p.Desktop%20Synchronization%2FTopics%2FSynchronized%20events%20are%20off%20by%20an%20hour%20or%20more%1F
Let me know if this doesn't help!

Simon replied on September 01, 2009 23:41 to the question "Calendar Event Order" in AirSet:
Hi Michelle,
Do these events have times associated with them? If not, you can create them as "all day" events and they will be listed in the order you created them.
If they do have times associated with them, one thing you could do is, first do the same as stated above, and then in the subject line, type in the time of the event. The problem with this method would be that if you set reminders for the event they won't be set based on the time you type in the subject field, because the event would be recognized as an all day event.
Hope this helps, let me know if this was confusing and I'll try to make it more clear :)
Simon replied on September 01, 2009 22:07 to the idea "Have preset reminders in the calendar program" in AirSet:
Hi Ron,
You should be able to set the new event template to have these reminder settings. Try following these steps: double-click in the calendar legend while in the Calendar App, a dialog box should appear, click "Template for New Events" from the right side of the dialog box, a new event dialog box should appear. Now go to the reminder section of the dialog and set your first reminder for 2 days, and then set your second reminder for 1 day. When you are finished, click "Save".
Now the next time you create a new event, the reminder field should be automatically filled with what you set from above.
Let me know if this works.
Simon replied on September 01, 2009 21:20 to the idea "Have preset reminders in the calendar program" in AirSet:
Our engineer reminded me that you can already do this!
If you double-click in the calendar legend you can edit the default template for new events. You can set the reminder the way you'd like, and the next time you create a new event it will use the default settings set in the template.
Hope this helps!
