The 365 hot sauce (the bottled sauce similar to Tabasco) has been discontinued and is no longer available through any other outlets. We're sorry for any inconvenience. There are many reasons that go into the decision to discontinue a product. Hundreds of new products are presented to us every day; therefore, the mix of products in each category is continually evolving. We evaluate attributes like value, quality, taste and convenience when we make the decision to accept or discontinue a product. Most often a product is discontinued to make room for a new product that offers a better combination of these attributes.

Our regional coordinators do a great deal of comparison shopping and industry research to ensure that we are offering competitive prices. I am bringing your concerns to the attention of our Southern Pacific regional office so they can look into why the price of this product may have gone up.

Hi Matt,

We checked in with a number of our vendors (Seventh Generation, Earth Friendly Products, Mrs. Meyers, and Method) and everyone we contacted confirmed they use coconut as an additive. Unfortunately coconut is pervasive in laundry detergent because generally "plant derivatives" are derived from coconut.

Our team at the Gateway store suggested the 20 Mule Team Borax laundry detergent. We used to carry this product, but it was discontinued by our distributor, but it may be available through other retailers or online.

The surfactant in our 365 Powdered Laundry Detergent is derived from coconut (lauryl) fatty alcohol.
