So far, re-installing has helped a little but I still get random pauses from which I have to forward to the next track to continue play. I don't pay Spotify £9.99 per month for this kind of inconvenience! – racheblue, on November 09, 2009 21:28

Now Spotify isn't playing at all and I can't do searches - agh!
I am EXTREMELY fed up with it.
Being a relatively understanding person, I will wait ONE MORE week for Spotify to LET US KNOW what the problem is and how it can be fixed. If no joy, my subscription will be cancelled and I will expect a refund for the non-working days.-

I've been having this problem - play cutting out at random intervals - for a few days. It is very irritating, particularly as I am now paying for the service!
I thought it might caused by a broadband connection problem at first but there is no other issue with my internet connection - works just fine with everything else.
I imagine the theory of high traffic on spotify may be valid as playback was fine during the day but started cutting out late afternoon into evening.
I'm back listening to the ipod now which is annoying as I'm paying to listen to spotify.
Please sort it out soon or I may be forced to cancel my account.
Cheers, Rache-

If one of those possible outcomes involves a change of name to your website, feel free to email me: racheblue@hotmail.com

Philip,
So, you did the research and went ahead with the least creative solution anyway - sigh!
I see no point in calling to say "can you please come up with an original non-conflicting name for your website" as it is clear that is all I want. I imagine, perhaps presumptuously, that your answer will be along the lines of "no" - hence I will not waste my time.

As the creator of Ecomonkey - http://ecomonkey.blogspot.com - the blog which has been running for several years offering readers a source of information on a variety of eco topics as well as an ever expanding list of eco services, suppliers, products and further information sources, I am somewhat peeved that the creators of this site either did not bother researching their website name before use or somehow think that it is okay to use the same name as another website offering similar services in the same field!
A bit of original creative thinking, coming up with a unique name that will not cause obvious conflict and confusion would not go amiss!
Yours frustratedly,
