A comment on the question "Twitpic / Flickr.....Now PING.FM" in Ping.fm:
Hopefully this will include the ability to route to different photo services, or groups of services via @ or * tags. Please include SmugMug if at all possible, they have their own photo client already but they really need support for the microblogs, @DonMacAskill would probably be more than happy to see this happen. – radione, on August 06, 2008 00:55
A comment on the question "Is there an iPhone Application planned for future release?" in Ping.fm:
joe user would use ping.fm because it is the one that updates all of them. While there are benefits to an open platform, not all of the sites Ping works with are open either, APIs provide reasonably good interoperability including to Ping's service itself. So I would think an ambitious coder could already get to work on something, but personally I'm looking forward to the "official" app. "One Ping to rule them all!" – radione, on August 06, 2008 00:49
