Rahim shared an idea in LUCI on March 15, 2009 06:40:
Projecting Android on the Big ScreenHaven't tried this myself, but if anyone needs to use an actual Android phone for the demos this Wednesday this may help: http://androidguys.com/?p=3519.-
Rahim started following the idea "Android Development Guide" in LUCI.

Where are the readings? The course website doesn't have any links to the readings for this week.
Rahim replied on December 31, 2008 00:11 to the problem "Doesn't seem to Scrobble to last.fm" in Hi, Rahim:
Boourns :(
Do the scrobbling notifications appear?
(From an earlier post)
As far as scrobbling goes, try this: go to the Harmony preferences* and check the "show scrobbling notifications" checkbox. Restart Firefox and play a song. Does a notification window appear showing the currently playing song? After the song is over, does another notification window appear saying that the track has been submitted? If so, then it's most likely a problem on Last.fm's side. However, if neither notifications appear, then it's a problem on Harmony's side and I'll fix it.
* How to get to Harmony's preferences
In Firefox, click on the "tools" menu then click on the "add-ons" menu item (third from the top). A new window will appear with a list of the add-ons installed on your computer, click on "harmony" in that list. The selection should expand a bit showing a short description for Harmony along with three buttons, click on the "options" button.

I've just uploaded the latest version of Harmony (1.0.2) to the Mozilla servers and it's available now.
What's new?
This update contains the fixes from 1.0.1 (the version I uploaded to my server yesterday, which is now obsolete).
This update also removes the "lookup artist" feature, which I don't think many people used. Also, the track information has been combined with the artist information, so it should take up less screen real estate.
Works with Firefox versions up to 3.1 Beta 2.
How do I get it?
The add-on is on Mozilla's servers, so your Firefox should automatically update the add-on. If not, click on the "Tools" menu in Firefox, then click on "Add-ons," then click on the "Find Updates" button.
Let me know if it solves your problem.

Actually, I've just uploaded an updated version of Harmony that fixes another bug posted on this site. The updated add-on can be found at http://www.hirahim.com/harmony_1.0.1.xpi.

Alright, as I mentioned in my post earlier today, I looked into the problem where artist and track information did not load. The problem is on Last.fm's side (they changed their output slightly). I've posted a message on their forum asking for advice on how to proceed, but in the meantime, I've made a small change to sidestep the problem. You can download an updated version of Harmony here: http://www.hirahim.com/harmony_1.0.1.xpi.
To install it, right click on the link and click "save as." Save the file to your desktop, start Firefox, go to File->Open File, select the downloaded file, click "open."
Let me know if this solves your problem. If so, I'll go ahead and upload it to Mozilla's server so that it can automatically be distributed to everyone.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get a notification e-mail from Get Satisfaction that this problem had been posted. I got one today for another problem and that's how I noticed this one.
I too am getting the problem where it doesn't load the artist and track information (just keeps saying loading). Last.fm may have changed something on their end. I'll look into that today.
As far as scrobbling goes, try this: go to the Harmony preferences* and check the "show scrobbling notifications" checkbox. Restart Firefox and play a song. Or, it could be as kory.kirk (above) said, and you just entered the password incorrectly. Let me know how it goes.

Hm...there may just have been a hiccup in your download. Try downloading it again, if not, I've uploaded a copy of the add-on to my server: http://www.hirahim.com/harmony-1.0-fx....
To install it, download the file from my server, start Firefox, go to File->Open File, select the downloaded file, click "open."

I've uploaded a new version (1.2.1) to the official add-on site (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...) that should fix this problem. It'll be available as soon as it passes Mozilla's dev review.

Hi dtchan, thanks for reporting the problem. I've uploaded a new version of the add-on (1.2.1) to the official add-on site (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...). It'll be available as soon as it passes Mozilla's dev review.
I'm not sure how long it'll take for Mozilla's dev review, so in the meantime, I've uploaded a copy of the update to my server. Please uninstall your current Map+ version (Tools->Add-ons->Map+->Uninstall->restart Firefox) and then install the update from http://www.hirahim.com/map+-1.2.1.xpi.
Let me know if this fixes your problem. If not, I'll keep at it.

Wow, NoScript is painfully annoying.
I'm having trouble reproducing your problem. NoScript prevented the Yahoo! map from appearing, but the fix for that was to simply allow ytimg.com. Your problem is on a whole other level. Could you post a list of your installed add-ons (perhaps this problem occurs when other add-ons are present as well), your operating system (might be OS specific), and if your problem occurs when you're on a specific web site (you said the preferences dialog is blank, so it's probably not limited to any single site, but just making sure...).
