I turned everything off, but none of the options mentions getting email notifications upon new friend requests. I'll see how it goes from here.

I don't want to receive ANY email from Gowalla, but there is no option for that. I don't even have an iPhone, so I don't care who is trying to friend me.

For each notify.me alert I recieve via IM, I'm actually getting 8 messages. Basically renders the service useless and I have no idea what happened.

The input elements for embedding media and for leaving comments flow off into the sidebar. This looks very weird and unprofessional and will immediately turn many new users away.

Messages are truncated when posting via email. Gmail sends messages fully intact, Ping.fm truncates them. This is a recent issue, within the last week or so.

Is there anything I can do to help? Anything specific impeding the progress? Just curious because I thought the protocol behind GTalk was pretty simple. Thanks for the quick response :)

I know I can update Ping.fm from GTalk, which is the only way I do it, but I am confused as to why Ping.fm doesn't actually update my GTalk status message.
