Importing from EventBriteImporting attendees from EventBrite - I started the import, but that was hours ago - nothing seems to be happening. Manage Attendees still shows no new members. Can I monitor the status of the import? Can I restart it without worrying about duplicate import / duplicate invites? (This is for ChangeCamp Ottawa.)
rakerman replied on March 31, 2009 01:26 to the problem "Slidecast Synchronization Tool - End Marker Spacing Doesn't Allow for Quick Transitions - 20 Second Spacing" in SlideShare:
I used DataGazetteer's trick, but my slide audio was 1.5 hours long - it took me many hours to adjust it to track closely enough with my slides, since many of my slide transitions are just a few seconds long, I kept having to adjust the audio to line up "good enough" with the slides. Please allow intervals as short as one second per slide - part of this is just a very basic interface issue - the sliders are big chunky blocks and the interface prevents overlapping them - either let us zoom into a particular audio segment, or make the start and end markers very thin.-

It also doesn't construct the right TinyURL in this case where it ends with a ? - http://www.tvo.org/TVOsites/WebObject...
(It works fine if I make the tinyurl directly at tinyurl.com)

bird's eye geotagging doesn't workThe geotagging using Virtual Earth doesn't work if you try to save the position in Bird's Eye view. It saves the position fine in Aerial view.
Also, it would be nice if this information was better displayed - there is no indication in the main synth display that the image has been geotagged. In the synth viewer screen you should display e.g. "taken in Florence, Italy" and change the appearance of the globe icon, when something has been geotagged.
Also there is no indication of a location-based search in the interface, and there's no GeoRSS, so you can't feed the location to other tools.
