This is a problem, as simple status updates show up as links now. Worse, the links are usually invalid. This behaviour has changed from how it worked previously.

Last image invalid link on facebook

My last image post came out on facebook as an invalid link:
http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%...
Which comes out as a broken link like this http://ping.fm/p/jZso7%20
I think the space at the end is getting encoded and causing problems? If you follow it in Firefox then refresh once it fails, then it loads. However in IE it just says '404' and is a blank page.
