Ran Magen replied on December 14, 2009 07:22 to the question "Name removal for twitter sharing" in my6sense:
That's very odd.. We don't add that string prefixing to each tweet, can you please provide a link to an example?
To get a link to a tweet, go to your page in twitter, i.e. let's assume your Twitter username is Anton.
go to http://www.twitter.com/Anton
find the troublesome tweet and click the "about x minutes ago" or "about x hours ago"
that opens a page with a direct link to your tweet.
I suggest that you share something on twitter via my6sense now, and find that exact tweet in Twitter. Post here link to that one..
Thanks,

Currently, there's no 2-way sync between Google Reader and my6sense.
The operation you did at the beginning was merely getting all your streams into my6sense, from there it totally detached from Google Reader.
The process is exactly as exporting an OPML file from Google reader and Importing it to my6sense via http://www.my6sense.com/website/a/Import.
So any functionality you would expect that would synchronize anything between my6sense and Google Reader doesn't exists as of yet.
That covers 1,2,6.
As for the rest, we'll take them into consideration. Some of them are recurring requests, some are new..
Thanks for the feedback!

If you feel you don't trust our security measures, I can recommend is that you go to google reader, export your feeds to an OPML file, go to our website to http://www.my6sense.com/website/a/Import and import the file into your account. That way you don't have to supply us with the password.
On Facebook we use the common FacebookConnect methods, and on Twitter, even though you send the password to our servers, it's sole purpose is to create an OAuth token, it's never saved, persisted to any sort of non-memory data.
Ran Magen replied on November 15, 2009 06:59 to the question "Give you my Password? As if." in my6sense:
my6sense's next app version (coming very soon) uses Facebook connect to allow you to interact with Facebook.
For twitter, the same applies, you will see a username/password input screen but those are only submitted to Twitter to get a permission token from them, and we use those, your credentials are not saved.
For google (to import RSS feeds) we also do not save your credentials, it's a one time use to fetch your opml file from google reader.
Essentially our guideline is never to save user's credentials on our servers. For that matter, even your my6sense password is saved in a one-way encription method, meaning we can't reconstruct it.

Your digital intuition is not affected by adding or removing streams. Feel free to mess around with your subscriptions as much as you like, and generally my advice would be to NOT THINK about what actions would affect the ranking, and just use the system. That would ensure your digital intuition will build itself optimally.
Thanks,
