You are right - the template / UI in general is getting a major overhaul this winter. We've basically been waiting until the public beta version of Combo is ready for release, so hang tight...

Also, we've been focusing on our mobile apps, coming soon.

As for blogging / publishing features, it is on the list of features to be included in the public beta version of Combo, the timeline for which is the about 2-3 months. We will include the ability to sync your wordpress, blogger and others, as well as they ability to post new blog entries and add content that you have in your collection to your blog entries. At that point, some of the meta features of Combo will really click - you'll be able to see something in your Watchbox, favorite it, add it to a blog posting and tell your friends about the blog posting, all from one interface.

I'll let you know when we upgrade the RSS services - much needed - it should be this coming week.

If you've been trying that but still get the PIN Code error message, then try clearing your cache and requesting a new invite.

OR - simply send us an email and we'll send you a new invite directly. The auto-invite system and the user-invite system are a little different and I'm pretty sure a direct invite will solve whatever problem you're having.

Spencer - thanks for the feedback. Totally agree with you that it needs work, (we're definitely an early private beta and not trying to present ourselves as anything else!)

Right now, the publishing features are limited to uploading photos + videos to a few sites and updating status msgs. Within a month (roughly), that will be expanded to include posting to blogs. We'll also have a number of more services linked up to the photo/video/status msg updates...

RSS is getting a major overhaul next week - essentially, we need to create a distinction between the RSS feeds you want to follow, and the RSS feeds from services that you author/own.

There are a few other features that will be added very soon as well, hopefully that will make things feel a bit more pulled together.

What specific "push" syncs / sites would you like to see added? Let us know!

It is actually not a problem on either of our ends - it is Twitter (most likely)

I will double check now with a test account and add a Twitter to see what you're seeing, but...

Twitter has been seeing some serious downtime issues for a while now, and their API is often taken offline or restricted.

Right now, it shows API in yellow, which means it should be working most of the time, but not necessarily. I would try again in 10 minutes or so. If that doesn't work, try again tomorrow and it should be back up.

Hey. Did you try and request a new invite and it gave you that error again? Or was it the old invite+pin.

We did not know the article was going live this morning, sadly, so we got a little techcrunch'd.

The invite system is fixed, but you'll have to request another invite code. Sorry!
