ratherbebiking marked one of Chris' replies in Apple as useful. Chris replied to the question "MobileMe Icon".
A comment on the idea "Use Icons w/o Titles for Outline View Sections" in Nambu:
I think you underestimate a mid-level Nambu user. I'm very accustomed to the icons now and would not hesitate to switch to an icon only layout simply for the savings on space if I had the option. But either way, I get that there are more important things to work on that will benefit more users.
It's not really about what the 16x16 icon adds but by the space a user can save on a small screen by taking away the 80px or so occupied by the text. – ratherbebiking, on October 24, 2009 03:11

I get that. Thanks for the response. I hope you can get the product to a point where you might have time to spend on optional features like this. I would certainly use it, at the sacrifice of having text view. Why would any of the icons need to be taller than 16pixels?
Thanks again for participating here.
ratherbebiking reported a problem in Verizon on October 13, 2009 03:25:
FED UP, WORST SUPPORT EVERI'm not going to go over my whole 'story' here, but here's a summary of what I've been through -
- ZERO Support from Verizon on GetSatisfaction (I was able to have their status downgraded on that site)
- Terrible support from chat reps, even when trying to get techincal info, I was disconnected for not being on a PC
- Overall TERRIBLE communication from Verizon
- Billed errenously for three days of service, told it would take two billing cycles to credit me for that
- I called this past friday having intermittent connection which has continued until today, I was told I would recieve a call today if I need to be here for service tomorrow or if the connection had been fixed, since they found errors in the line test on Friday.
- NO. FUCKING. CALL. Thanks.
I'm completely fed up with getting almost zero support from Verizon. Ignored on twitter, on posts here, it doesn't matter. I would rather try to use the internet at school than pay monthly for a service that I end up spending HOURS dealing with "support" for.

ratherbebiking replied on October 07, 2009 11:44 to the problem "Getting signed out of email automatically while I am still composing or reading an email." in Verizon:
Verizon will probably continue to ignore you on here. They also claim to answer emails sent to their webmail team, but never do. Here is my suggestion.
Use. Gmail.
Just grab you info (probably incoming.verizon..com or mail.verizon.com)
There is a good tutorial on how to do this so you can send and receive all your messages as your verizon profile from gmail. NO need to use their poor and unsupported webmail

Here is the thread where they are not responding at all : http://getsatisfaction.com/verizonwir...
