24inch Apple LED Display

I have a shinny new 24 inch LED apple display with mini display port, is there any way of connecting this to my G5 tower, that is only 12mths old......Has apple or anyone release an adapter yet???...

no, downloads fine, and it installs, just wont work, when I click on it, just get the hourglass and then have to do a battery pull
