Tested with: Intel Mac@Mac OS X 10.5.7@Songbird 1.2.0

I think it is a bug maybe a feature request:

I can't change the volume with the apple+up/down key when Songbird is not in foreground (minimized in dock).
In iTunes it's no problem to change the volume while switching the application with the apple+tab key (the application is still in background)

The spacebar key for stop/play while the program is minimized would also be nice.
