I have to say there has been a good bit of fiddliness involved in commenting since the last major update, basically it seems like the alpha/z depth seems to get confused and when your clicking within the timed comment window, it often makes the play/stop bar underneath skip to wherever you clicked. This can be very annoying and does happen to me in both Firefox and IE on my WinXP Pro machine. A fiddly 'workaround' I have found is that if you click the solid blue bar of the 'timed comment' bubble before you try and type or click into the text input area, it often goes back to be 'properly on top'. It is definitely pretty annoying and fiddly though tbh.

it isnt working for me when the file is finished, I closed and reopened firefox and tried again, but although it looked like it was uploading when it finished the placeholder had the grey and white 'blank' stripes and when I clicked 'Save Changed' the image is not there :s - this is happening in both Internet Explorer and Firefox. The file is a standard JPEG 112kb (500pxX491px), and it happens with GIF's too.

seriously this is REALLY annoying, being able to see back more than a day is v important - is there any workaround we could use in the meantime till its fixed?

great - now my 'workaround' isnt working anymore, seriously this is really annoying, and to be able to go through more than one days worth of posts is pretty fundamental

i found a workaround if anyone else is having the same problem, though it is a bit messy eheh - if you right click the 'show more' button and 'copy link location' - you can see code like this:

'http://soundcloud.com/?end_date=2009-07-11+19%3A50%3A03'

which is obviously date and time, so if for example in the above one I changed it to:

'http://soundcloud.com/?end_date=2009-07-10+19%3A50%3A03'

and pasted it into my address bar, it brings me to the day before :p

the first 'show more' works, but the second time you click it, it just duplicates the 'second' page, is there a way around this, as it is really annoying to not be able to see before 1 'show more'...

yeh I'd definitely be all for this, although as moderator of a group you can set it so you have to approve a track before it goes into a group anyway if you really want (as i have in my 'Belgian New Beat' group...

when I click 'show more' on dashboard page it does expand downwards, but it's just a copy of the page I'm on, this happened late last night, and I thought maybe there was a little bit of work being done on the server, but its continuing today, maybe '1,2,3,4' links at the bottom of page might fix this?

Song playing back glitchy and slow in Firefox and Chrome
My track is playing back all distorted and slowed down and wobbly (ie pitch/speed is fluctuating) in Google Chrome and Firefox but is fine in Internet Explorer - another user (SteveParker) said he got the same problem when trying to play it in Firefox - I updated my Flashplayers in both Chrome and Firefox to latest and it still happens - should I upload it again? (although it would mean I would lose all the comments). Is it possible for you (moderators) to 're-render/compress' it from the WAV I uploaded? Any help is very much appreciated
