This way you simply select the next scheduled workout on your iPhone/iPod without the need to check this online.
Cause its a bit silly that the Nike+ coach has setup a nice (automatic) online training schedule which you then every time must manually create again via 'custom' workout on device...

I've experienced the same here.
You might try as a work-around opening the new site with 'compatibility mode' setting of IE8. This sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. If it doesn't close IE8 completely, restart and try again with comp. mode still active for this site. That always works for me. Good luck.

At least 2 of my old runs (05+07Jan07) won't show their running graph when training is opened on the new site. When these 2 are selected the previous/next training arrows won't show up either?!

The username field keeps displaying 'EMAIL' in lightgrey even when trying to type my username in there. Funny thing is that the cursor does move with every character I type wo displaying it?!

Noop, but you can have Runkeeper, Nike+ and iPod apps all active at the same time on iPhone3GS. No integration of data collected between both running apps of course...
FYI Paid version of Runkeeper adds almost all functions of Nike+ too, but I won't switch completely since Nike+ site(s!) is more feature rich and I've already grown a history of a 1000+ miles/KM with Nike+ ...
