Robbie Mitchell replied on July 09, 2009 16:03 to the question "Discount on Whole Catalog?" in Rhythm, Rhyme, Results:
Michael, thanks for writing! If you buy the Box Set Instant Download on our website, you get four large ZIP files containing all four double-disc albums for just $49.99. We created that discount especially for educators who want to use all our songs in the classroom. You can find it here:
http://www.educationalrap.com/purchase
Because iTunes makes us enter them as virtual CDs, "disc 1" of each album contains the Original and Downtempo (slowed down) versions, while "disc 2" contains the Recall TrackTM and Instrumental versions. Each virtual disc is $9.99, meaning you pay $79.92 if you buy everything separately in iTunes.
FYI, this summer we are building a service that will allows schools and all students to access our music (including all four versions) 24/7 via the Web via logins. Stay tuned for more info on that!
A comment on the problem "Google Analytics Reports 0 Visits" in pinch/zoom:
Automatt: the whole point of Get Satisfaction is to provide a space for companies to answer questions publicly, enabling other users to find the answer to their question quickly. It's essentially an organic FAQ builder that saves everyone time. Take 10 seconds to scan through previous questions, or search for your issue. – Robbie Mitchell, on April 21, 2009 20:05
Robbie Mitchell replied on April 20, 2009 18:58 to the problem "get to music-tune" in Rhythm, Rhyme, Results:
Are you trying to access the music from a school? We have found that more and more schools are implementing filters at the server level that block a wide range of predetermined websites and services, including imeem, which we use to embed the songs on our website for free.
(Previously: imeem problems at school.)
If this is not the case, please tell me more about your computing situation--particularly what changed between now and then that might affect listening to the music streams.

Thanks for the note. We have been working for a few weeks to correct an error where our iTunes intermediary accidentally removed six of our eight albums from the US, Canada, and UK iTunes stores. All but the Science album (disc 1) made it back right away. I just checked and everything is back in the store, so you should be able to find what you need. Thanks again for alerting us to the problem!
Robbie Mitchell replied on March 17, 2009 03:05 to the problem "All content not available" in Rhythm, Rhyme, Results:
Michelle, thanks for writing. We are still recovering from an error caused by our iTunes intermediary: they removed a majority of our albums from the iTunes store by mistake and we only discovered it a few days ago. They are in the process of repopulating the store with our CDs--shouldn't be long!

Robbie gave praise in Get Satisfaction on March 12, 2009 16:06:
Widgets = GodThanks for the expanded widgets! Recently I came looking for an RSS function to embed only certain types of feedback, but didn't see anything. When I returned today I found the Topic List, which we now use on the front page as a replacement for manually entered testimonials. Combined with the Feedback Tab and Contact Page widgets on our site, we are knee deep in Satisfaction, and so are our customers.

Robbie replied on March 04, 2009 17:49 to the question "Anne Birch" in Rhythm, Rhyme, Results:
Hi Anne! Your batch went out last week, if you haven't received it already you should shortly. All of the PDF lyric booklets for that batch went out over e-mail.
"Demand, Supply" is currently available just as a streaming song on our website, but we actually just signed a production contract to produce an entire album of economics songs! The first two will be ready later this spring, and I suspect we'll start releasing Demand, Supply with those as well. Stay tuned

Hi Doris, how exciting! I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "use" but I'm sure we can figure out whatever you need. Could you please email me at robbie@educationalrap.com to talk more?

Thanks, TJ! Do you happen to have a recording of the performance that you'd like to share? We'd love to feature it on our website.
Stay tuned: this week on our website we are releasing a special Black History Month collection, featuring three existing songs, a new song (Countries of Africa), and a collection of games and puzzles.
Robbie replied on February 03, 2009 19:21 to the praise "This song is so awesome!" in Rhythm, Rhyme, Results:
Thanks! The great thing about Layers of the Earth is that the composer, lyricist, and vocalist for that track live in different cities and have never met. Our internal team and lead producer brought all their great work together into one seamless song, and remains one of our most successful and collaborative songs to date.
Glad it helped you in school!

Sorry to hear about the trouble with the streaming player. This is a growing problem with schools and we have contacted imeem to explore solutions for getting our music past content filters.
In the meantime, you can preview the song in iTunes or AmazonMP3 before purchasing with those services are directly on our website.

Thanks! We absolutely want (and plan) to make more songs in every subject.
If you have suggested topics, please feel free to post them here or email them to us.
Currently we're focusing on how to reach the most people with what we have produced (through sales and classroom testing), but you never know when we'll start cranking out more tracks.
