Hi, I am having a problem with the shake to clear an entry on an iPhone 3GS running 3.1.2.

No matter how much I shake it doesn't clear, shaking for 10 seconds and still nothing happened.

I have tried restarting the iPhone but it made no difference

Although it is partly MA's fault that we ended up in this situation to begin with since they tied the too products together so closely, once it occurred there wasn't anything they could do to resolve it, the ball was entirely in Apple's court.

Thankfully Apple has finally approved it at long last

Noticed 2 slight issues, nothing major though

The Loans category doesn't have an icon and when you start a sync the favourites section in the Cha-Ching desktop toolbar is collapsed

Other than that, great, glad Apple finally pulled their finger out, here is hoping 1.7 doesn't take as long to approve ;)

Now that accounts don't show up in the sidebar by default I have basically achieved this by only adding the accounts I am interested in to the sidebar.

I think they should still show up in Accounts because it is not logically to completely hide them

Thanks, this is perfect, fixes most of the issues I was having and it is great to basically be able to hide accounts I no longer have from the sidebar (well the reverse, show the accounts I still have, but the affect is the same ;)

You can do this yourself, just add a smart vault with the conditions

Any of the following

Account is A
Account is B
Account is C

for each account you want. This is exactly what smart filtering is for ;)

I never used the all transactions view personally, I much prefer having a smart vault for it because I only want active accounts shown, I don't care about closed ones but I still want the data and I don't want things like student loans showing up in there because the balance is thenmassively in the red which isn't the reality – REBELinBLUE, on October 04, 2009 10:30

Interestingly enough, there is a "Uncategorized" category in the custom categories that wasn't there before. I wonder if the transactions have been moved to that category rather than actually being Uncategorized? – REBELinBLUE, on October 04, 2009 10:21

This is because Apple have not yet approved the latest iPhone update but MA had to release the new version because the old version had expired, the new desktop version can't sync with the old iPhone version though

As do I, the new all accounts view is much nicer.

Although I still wish -£0.00 would become £0.00 and black not red but that is a minor thing.

One minor suggestion, add a favourites feature so you can add some accounts to the sidebar so you can easily get to them from other views.

Ah, hadn't realised that was a backup made on every upgrade, thought it was a backup made every launch.

I take it that it is pointless adding transactions currently as we'd need to revert to the backup to get our categories back, or will you be simply copying the categories across?
