Let me say it like this. I enjoyed GrabUp for as long as it lasted. It was a great app. If I'd ever run into the developers I would give them a punch in the face, not for not caring about Snow Leopard, but not caring about their product or customers at all. These guys apparantly didn't deserve my money in the first place.
That being said, I've been beta testing Cloud App for a month now, and it's really great. The app sits in your menubar, and you can assign a global shortcut that can shrink URLs, upload files and folders. It will also track your uploaded files so you can see how many who've clicked your links.
It's not open to the public yet, but once it will, you'll wonder how you managed without. The apps website is http://www.getcloudapp.com/
You can read the support pages to get a list of it's features.

Twinkle is the best Twitter app on the iPhone! But it seems like it don't know how to handle Norwegian characters either, both in the geo data nor message.
Are the data being passed along all the way with the UTF-8 charset? This might be the problem, as I helped another Twitter service with the same problem (the problem then was an XML buffer file which didn't use UTF-8).-
