Spam Reporting APII'd like to see support for the report_spam API method in Tweetie for Mac. I don't know if this is already planned or not, but I think it would be useful.

A comment on the question "What about adding identica support ?" in atebits:
I should clarify that I'm certainly not against open sourced software or Linux (I make extensive use of Linux servers, WordPress, etc). But I don't really like the attitude a lot of Identica/Laconica users have about "closed source" solutions. (I can't say I like having microblogging splintered into scores of identical services either.) I'm okay with StatusNet support, as long as it's not to the detriment of Tweetie, be it in code bloat, extra interface options, or added development time.
I suppose you have a good point, Daryl, about companies using StatusNet for internal microblogging. – redwall_hp, on October 18, 2009 23:52

Tweetie for Mac/iPhone: The Best Twitter Clients AroundI've been a user of Tweetie for Mac (which is hands-down the best Mac Twitter client) for a few months now, and have just started trying out Tweetie 2 over Twitterific. So far, it is great. The interface is fluid and right in line with the general iPhone UI. Great job.

redwall_hp replied on June 18, 2009 15:06 to the problem "missing avatars on Tweetie for Mac" in atebits:
I've seen it happen on Twitter.com and in other clients before. I think it has something to do with Twitter and how they store the avatars on Amazon S3. I think there might be some crossed wires at Twitter, and their system requests avatars from the wrong location.
I might be wrong, but I think it's something along those lines.

I shut my MacBook down every night, so it bothers me a little every morning.
It only seems to do it for secondary Twitter accounts though. (E.g. My main Twitter account is visible on screen, so the Growl notifications don't show for it, but they do for the ones that aren't currently selected.) That's what seems to be happening, anyway.-

redwall_hp asked a question in IntenseDebate on January 15, 2009 17:12:
A New WordPress Comment Isn't SyncingA new comment was added to my blog recently via the built-in commenting system. (I suppose the user was JavaScript-impaired.) It's been nearly 24 hours and the comment hasn't synced to IntenseDebate. I see it in my Recent Comments box in the WordPress admin, but it doesn't show up on the post, as ID doesn't have it yet. Why didn't it sync, and what can I do to fix it?
