Hello,

When you visit your table properties menu now, you'll see that there is a "Has Border" checkbox. Just uncheck this box if you'd like to remove borders from your table.

This is what I have as the table style line of code in my source:

< td style="border-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); background-color: rgb(233, 242, 245);" >

The RGB code I have in there, btw, is the color of the standard light blue background of a 2.0 wiki, but you can also use hex code in the source as well.

*Edited border rgb code to actually be white, lol*

Thanks Casey - this finally solves the question for for me without having to going into editing the stylesheet or anything!
But note that this only works in Firefox. Internet explorer 7 fails to display the cell properties when right-clicking on a table cell in an edit session.

We're still working out the border issue, however, you can also make the border white, so it doesn't show up. This is done in Cell Properties, I believe.

I thought choosing table properties and border=0 should do it .
There isnt any point in allowing users to put border=0 if it doesnt work.

why doesnt it? i dont want to have to mess about with stylesheets...
surely there should not be any stylesheets that actually force a border when it is 0?

The old version of PB wiki allowed you to set borders to 0 in table settings. If the default CSS is forcing borders ro be displayed, it would be nice if the pbwiki folks would modify it so that whatyouseeiswhatyouaskfor. There's a similar problem with image alignment. It's no longer possible to get images to wrap around the left or right side of an image, even with an align="left/right" attribute.

I get the feeling, from this question and another that proflkr has posted, that proflkr has inadvertently logged in as a user without admin privileges. PBwiki is currently having some issues with cookies and logins getting jumbled up, so it's actually very easy to get your logins all mixed up.

I would recommend logging out of all wikis, deleting all PBwiki cookies in your browser, close and restart your browser, then log in as the administrator. If that doesn't fix it, then contact support (using the 'help' link in the upper right corner of your wiki), as they are the only ones who can handle these types of problems.

Is it maybe your server? I just clicked on it, to make sure it was working, and it went to the sign up page, no problem. Maybe try a restart or try again? All I can come up with, good luck!

Sorry that you are frustrated. On our page, we have a logout, settings, and help button on the main page, in addition to tabs for home, edit, new page, comments, and files. Is this not showing up on your main page??

This thread gives some explicit detail about permissible uses for your wiki. This thread and this thread state that there are "special" rates for non-profits. The second link states that, as a general rule, non-profits are 50% off the business rate. As they do not publish their rates, your best bet is to contact TK (the Revenue Guy) at TK (at) pbwiki (dot) com to discuss your specific situation.

Hi, I think it depends on the specific information your using the wiki for. If it's to share info with your group members, you could use the family wiki. If it's more about numbers or statistics, you would be okay with the business wiki. Good luck with whichever one you choose!

Use the 'View Source' function in your browser, and look for a line containing a .css file name, like so:

Copy out the entire filename, like so:

http://vs2.pbwiki.com/layout/common/c...

and paste it into your browser's address bar. This will display the contents of the file so you can view it.
