A comment on the idea "Last.fm-like multiple tag system" in Songbird:
this is the best I've seen so far.
When you select multiple items, the bar should only show the tags that all selected songs have in common – Remorak, on July 07, 2009 15:23

Remorak started following the problem "when i click a song the next one is played" in Songbird.
Remorak replied on April 30, 2009 11:36 to the idea "make "get album art" an add-on" in Songbird:
beside my philosophy to have as less unused functions as possible I sometimes click very fast and imprudent through Songbird and I don't want to overwrite my cover art.
But, I got your Point.
is there a way to deactivate this function via about:config?
I simply like to deactivate those things, and that is very easy when everything is an add-on

make "get album art" an add-onsorry, I don't need this function because I use musicBrainz Picard and I believe I'm not the only one. Or am I?
or integrate it into this

invent an XML for Lyricsit would be nice if there where an uniform lyric syntax that can be used for various add-ons. For karaoke, lyrics or visualisers for example.
something like this

Remorak started following the question "musicbrainz integration" in Songbird.
Remorak shared an idea in Songbird on April 23, 2009 08:05:
Sort artist names by the sort name tagMusicBrainz automaticly adds a "albumartistsort"-tag beside the "artistname"-tag to files.
For example:
when the artist is named "Elvis Presley", the sort name is "Presley, Elvis" or when the artist name is "The Whitest Boy Alive", the sort name is "Whitest Boy Alive, The".
And this also works with non-english names like "Die Ärzte"(sort name "Ärzte, Die").
MusicBrains is providing this information for every single artist in there Database. Why don't use it instead of simply ignoring "The" and "A" in artist names?
it would also be possible to sort artist by the last name.
