Your files must be accessible through http, and not ftp. Also, to allow Flash to access them you must add a crossdomain.xml file at the root of your domain.

PREMIUM and PLATINUM accounts allow you to manage subscribers.
it includes a web-based management system as well as a powerful API access.

Calaméo doesn't manage payment. You can either use our web interface to manually create subscribers, or connect your own payment solution to Calaméo using our API : http://calameo.com/help/104-api.htm

I'm sorry, my 1st solution was to use the simple skin, and not the custom.

You don't have to start over:
download the default skinXML at http://groups.google.com/group/calame...

Unzip, and modify the skin.xml file to remove the subscription button, host it on your server (don't forget to put the crossdomain.xml file at your domain's root) and specify its address when you customize your publication.

Calaméo doesn't automatically use embedded audio files.

However you can use the "links" fonction to include mp3 players in your publication.

This can sadly happen with a slow computer or a very complex publication. Also we suggest you check all the acceleration options of you video card are enabled.

Also check you are using the latest version of Flash Player.

There are 2 options to achieve that:

1) Customize your publication using the custom skin (all buttons are removed, except for the navigation arrows)
2) Or upgrading to a Premium or Platinum account and design your own customized skin (documentation: http://skin.calameo.com)
