Maps!

I'd love to see some maps on the site. For example, if a story is about a specific place, put a map on the story. If a story only really concerns a specific neighborhood, allow filtering based on where someone actually lives. Be more hyper-local! Sorting stories based on distance from me would be cool. It would be nice to see the day's, week's, month's stories on a map and be able to click on the map to get stories that took place near there.

I've got a lot of Google Maps, and GIS experience, and might be able to help you out with this.

Pretty much anywhere there is pagination on the site. For example, when I looked through the list of groups, it was annoying trying to click the little tiny arrow to go to the next page.

You should sort the groups by size I think. There's some duplicates, and I would probably rather join the larger one.
