Can I get one of those emails from support@twitter.com with my reset password? I have been trying to access my account for months now, from safari, firefox 2 & 3, IE, opera and no reset email.

I am having trouble accessing my account using Safari. Never had this problem before now. Endless loop to login page. Bogus reset password page loops back to login page loop. I can Twitterific and Twinkle just fine. Hoping this is resolved soon.

So I had a system crash with Firefox and had to wipe it all squeaky clean. Looks like it works now. Thanks guys. You're the best!

Oh, I'm such a dummy. I was getting it confused with an IE bug I saw earlier today. Let me see if I can get someone else who might be able to help.

Look again, it's a Firefox thang (whatever the latest update was). IE works really great with Twitter in a very annoying way. That way being that it's IE and not Firefox.

Spelling it wrong actually works better. Sounds like you're actually biting it and trying to pronounce it.

It sounds like it's an IE problem, right? Is this IE 6, by any chance?

Yeah, the problem persists. I even changed my password after accessing my Twitter account from IE and I still get the same result. If I use the WRONG password/user name combo, I get a notice telling me so.

[You know, I knew I was spelling "tongue" wrong this whole time and couldn't for the life of me remember how to spell it in a way that made sense. Tounge? What the hell is that?]

Alright, I think it's a problem with Firefox. I dumped my cookie cache and the login is still failing. Logs in fine with Internet Explorer, however, I don't use IE I use Firefox. Come on peeps, what's the story?

So, what does it take to get a response to my problem? One person's issues aren't enough to get real world help? Apparently, Twitter's got some serious bugs and they're just too stubborn to close down the site for a short time and work through them.

SO, I signed up 'cuase a friend sent me in invite and right after I hit "create account" it brought me back to the login screen. "Fine," I say to myself. " This is semi-standard procedure for creating new accounts. I'll bite." Typed in my user name 'residentninja' and my password '***********************' Instead of logging me in, however, I was brought to a freshly reset login page. "Okaaay..." I tried several more times before clicking "Forgot?" I typed my email into the field which sent me an email telling me to click on the link they sent me and all would be forgiven and reset. [Clicks link] I am taken to the login page. With no new password and still no access to my account. [ Goes through this process several more times before looking for the 'help' link]

What gives, eh?
