Had a mailshot from Media Shout yesterday that appears to imply that MS3.5 has been returned to active duty, as the 'entry level' package, with MS4 as the 'Premium package'. Could be Coke Classic all over again!

I'd be very surprised if the processor/graphics chip combination in a netbook had the power to run MS. MS is heavy on the graphics card, and transitions would be slow, video jerky. Don't do it!

Sorry, don't understand. Why would you want to adjust the speed of a 'cut' transition? Cut means 'go straight from one to the next without a transition' - so it shouldn't have a 'speed'. Or am I missing something?

Signed up, received the link, installed the program and straight away get told that my evaluation period has expired. Which it probably has - as I've evaluated before. But how can I beta test like this?

I'm with you here! As well as being a minister, I'm also a systems integration consultant locally, and I assess whether or not to recommend MS4 to churches based on the rate at which bugs are reported and fixed here. I suggested before release that MS4 wasn't ready, and I still don't think it's ready for live use. MS3.5 was solid, reliable and predictable. There were a few bugs, but mostly they had been fixed. I think MS4 is still 6 months away from being ready for release. It's still a beta product, IMO, and I can't currently recommend it for new installations.

Still happening today. Can't access youversion.com with IE8. Is this just me, or are others having the same problem?

Yes, that's what I see. And I did click the link, and am returned to exactly the same screen. The link appears to be active (i.e. the mouse pointer changes shape as you move over it, and the info bar at the bottom of the screen indicates that the link is to www.youversion.com/?view=full) but it doesn't take me anywhere different.

Thanks for the email letting me know that v2 is out - but whenever I try to access it using IE8, I'm taken straight to the mobile version. I can't switch to standard view (nothing happens) and I can't type in the regular address to the address bar - it prepends m to the 'youversion.com'

Firefox is OK, as is Chrome, but IE8 doesn't work. And (whisper it, please) I prefer IE8 to the others.

Don't know about Kevin, but I have this issue too, and I know I've completed all the steps. I've posted a link on my own blog; I've invited at least one other person. But sending invitations and copying the link html don't seem to update the completeness figure.

Account already exists

When I insert my details (username for Picasa, for example), popego thinks for a moment and then tells me 'account already exists.' Well of course it does - it's my account! What am I doing wrong?

OK - pretty pastel shades. But the first screen is horribly wasteful of space - the forum was much more economical of screen real estate, and you could see lots of topics at once. This is a bit like the Media Shout interface if you don't use 'compact' - just too spaced out. And no folders, no subtopics, no 'active topics' button? Or have I missed those?
