Hi Scott. Nope, 1.1 Beta 1 still has the same problem, even when using the system proxy settings (which are in turn configured to use a PAC URL). I'll post a description of the problem on the beta feedback site as you suggested.

Postbox doesn't use PAC proxy for first connection after launch

I'm having a small problem where the first IMAP connection Postbox tries to open after I launch the program always fails ("connection timed out"). Later connection attempts work fine.

I have Postbox configured to use an automatic proxy configuration URL that tells it to use a SOCKS proxy for this particular IMAP server. I suspect that, for the first connection, Postbox isn't using the proxy, which is why it times out. For subsequent connections, the proxy is used and everything works fine.

I don't seem to have this problem when I configure the proxy manually; it only seems to happen when I have Postbox configured to use an automatic proxy configuration URL. Unfortunately, I only want to use the proxy for one of my mail accounts, so it's necessary to use a PAC.

This issue occurs in Postbox 1.0 final as well.

"Collected" should remain in Postbox, as it is just a large list with contacts I, most times, don't care about. But it should be possible to click on any contact in any mail and it can easily be added to AddressBook - ideally it fires up the application for adding it, no need to build an additional interface.

Address Book integration is key. Having a separate contact list is completely redundant. When I view a contact that has emailed me, I should not see an option to "add contact" when I already have that contact in my address book. Photos and other contact information should be available as well.
