I just had the KDC-X592 with the KCA-BT200 bluetooth adapter installed, and it works with my iPhone. The controls to navigate through your music takes a bit of practice (I'm now more used to the iPhone way versus the iPod way), but otherwise it's a great combo, allowing me to play my music through my car speakers, make and receive calls as well and listen to the other person through my car speakers.
