RicanChuloinFla started following the question "Palm Pre webOS app?" in Brightkite.
RicanChuloinFla asked a question in Public Radio Exchange (PRX) on June 22, 2009 13:08:
Any plans to support the Palm Pre?Are there any plans to support the Palm Pre at a later date? Some of us have multiple devices (iPod Touch, iPhone, etc) Since the device's OS is based on web standards, it shouldn't be too hard to cook up a PRT client and reach out a userbase that needs their NPR fix ;-)
Thanks!

Thanks!

Hi there:
I also have hopes that you can support the Palm Pre at a later date. Some of us have multiple devices (iPod Touch, Palm Pre, etc) Since the device's OS is based on web standards, it shouldn't be too hard to cook up a Bible client for the Pre ;-) and it would be a great way to reach a good sized userbase that doesn't have many options as of the moment...
Thanks!

Any plans to develop RK for the Palm Pre?Hi there: Are there any plans to support the Palm Pre in a version of RunKeeper? Since the device's OS is based on web standards, it shouldn't be too hard to cook up a client since there are currently no options for the handheld. It would also be a great opportunity to provide a product for us users that are willing to pay if needed for the functionality and reach a good sized userbase, since there are no products that fill this need. Thanks-
RicanChuloinFla started following the question "Loopt on Palm Pre WebOS?" in Loopt.
RicanChuloinFla reported a problem in Loopt on March 24, 2009 23:07:
Loopt is not compatible with the Boost Mobile/Nextel/Sprint Motorola i9.I can download the text message to my phone and link to the site to download the app but it seems the browser sniffer on the site does not recognize the i9 browser referrer and it refuses to let me download the app. Given the fact that Loopt supports all of Boost Mobile phones (and that the only difference on this phone is the screen size and the referrer info), is there any chance that you guys can support this phone? This is the flagship device for Boost Mobile

Bart
We do appreciate this new transparency amidst of all the changes happening at Tapulous. However, I'll also have to say that its been a long time since you guys we're supposed to be working on "fixing" the app. And we heard this several times here. So unless you guys tore down the app and built it from the ground up again three times, we wonder what is the holdup on releasing the app even with reduced functionality as many suggested (an alternative I also support). I have to join in sentiment with other users about the frustration. While Tap Tap Revenge is great and I use Twinkle, FriendBook is what I lust for...
