Richard set one of Richard's replies as an official response to "Partner integration question" in Joboso

Hi Kai,
You can choose to receive the user's currently active CV in whatever format they have uploaded it. We restrict the type of files that can be uploaded to common CV formats. Just add "CV Upload" as a transformation field and put the name of the field as you expect to receive it.
If you want to make it a requirement for any clients sent to you, then you need to add it in the requirements section as well.

Richard posted an update in Joboso on November 06, 2009 17:22:
Admin error on login and multiple registrationsIt appears that somehow, users who have registered through one of our affiliates have been able to come back and register again through the home page. This will cause errors when they try and log back in, as there is more than one account associated with their email address.
We apologise for this error and are going through the duplicate accounts and merging the data. If you are affected by this error and are having trouble logging in, please send an email to webdev@joboso.com and we will action your account as soon as possible.
Steps have been made to stop this happening again, but we will keep an eye on regsitrations in case it comes back.
Thanks for using Joboso.com

This problem seems to stem from registering the same email address multiple times, something we should have picked up on.
If you are getting this error, please email webdev@joboso.com and we can merge your accounts.
We will also take better steps to stop this from happening to more people.

Hi Linzi,
Usually it means that there is some temporary communications problem with the job board we are sending to, and something we will fix.
That's not quite the case for you, but there is something that I need to fix there!
I will update here when I've sorted out the problem, sorry about that!

Hi William,
Looking at your account, you've already been sent to AllExecutiveJobs.com, and CV Library are happy to accept your profile once you upload a CV by logging in and selecting the "Upload new CV" tab.
Once that is done it will automatically be distributed to any partners you are eligible for!
So you only have to send it to us once, we will handle sending it to our partners, and any additional partners that come online within 4 weeks of you last updating your profile.

Richard replied on September 20, 2009 17:53 to the problem "Profile" in Joboso:
Hi Una,
Profile % is a very simple calculation based on the number of fields asked vs the number of fields filled in.
DOB is asked for by some partners, others ask for age or even an age range. For us, the simplest method is to ask DOB then calculate age or range as required, that way we can send to more job boards.
As for it's legality, you are right it is against the employment act for employers to use that information, however the job boards are within their rights to ask for that information to sign up to their site, remember that they are not employers themselves. Please see their terms (At the bottom of http://www.joboso.com/terms/) as to what they may or may not use that information for. Unfortunately, if they ask for the data, we have to ask you for it!

Hi Teddy,
Thanks for taking the time to let us know your feelings, and sorry you didn't enjoy your experience with Joboso. What would you like to see changed?
Those two sites provide a wonderful service, and it's great that job seekers have a choice, and competition is always good! Maybe someone should make a site that registers you with all the sites that automatically register you with job boards :D
Incidentally, we've been providing this service to users (under a different brand and technology) since May 2007, 3 years before FreeMyCV.com was purchased :)
We are proud of the service we provide, and do want constructive feedback on how it can be improved, so please do let us know!
Thanks.
