A comment on the problem "It appears that Apple has charged my bank account, but I didn't buy anything from iTunes" in Apple:
Andy, I did the same, or rather the bank identified this fraud. The issue is I now have a new card and am terrified to re-enter. I currently cannot update my apps, nor access the Store because my details are now wrong. BUT I'm damned if I'm going to fall for the same trick. Apple till now have not responded. So, what to do????? – richard parr, on October 06, 2009 00:56

Hello in the USA. I am working on contract is Malaysia, but if any of you can get this message to Apple Corporate, please help. The CHICKEN SHITS will not respond to me. I have iTouch and now updates for 10 apps, plus I cannot access due to credit card being cancelled by bank. I am too scared to use it again and asked Apple "what now" but will they respond ... NO ... HOWEVER they now brag about their 1 million or 100 million or billion hits and purchases (free advertising), and continue to ignore the issue.
I repeat I have ONLY ever used by Platinum Visa card to sign up with Apple for apps store, HOWHERE ELSE, so how can they have let themselves open to this type of THEFT, thousands of dollars spent on line.
Thank Gawd for HSBC Bank who managed to stop most and revert the money to me. BUT i now fear using anything on Apple M(ickey) Mouse apps stores EVER AGAIN!!! – richard parr, on October 02, 2009 01:47

I am really pis*ed off. I have ONLY every used by card online to buy Apps from the Apple ITunes store. I am working in Malaysia on contract.
My bank phoned me to say my card is being used online to buy stuff at a casino in South africa (strangely enough I have a home nearby), AND a jewellery and clothing store. WHAT IS GOING ON. That's it, I will be credited and a new card issued and the card is cancelled immediately/ One week after getting an iTouch and I buy a few 99c apps I get ripped off. DISGUSTING!!!
